On Saturday I tasted Tsar Assén Mavrud Assenovgrad 1997
The wine is from Assenovgrad/Bulgaria (Bulgaria, the home of the diluted wines…) 🙄
The grape is Mavrud.
It tasted nice and fruity, but was a bit thin. 😐
For only SEK 53 at bolaget, I think this is ok.
Yesterday I tasted Santagostino Epoca Rosso 1998.
The wine is from Italy/Sicily.
Grapes: Nero D’Avola and Merlot.
I have tested it before, and I have always liked it. It is rich, and fruity and smelles very nice.
For only SEK 69 at bolaget it is almost a bargain. 🙂
