As usual all the big EDA companies were there. A lot of smaller as well. The most fun booth was the one from Synplicity that had both a bar and a magician. Here you can see him doing some magic with a rope, but he also made some card tricks and set fire to bank-notes.

Yesterday I visited Mentors (and Sun’s) Nordic Solutions Expo in Kista.
There was two presentations of new tools I found very interesting. TestKompress, that will shorter the test by a factor 10. PlatformExpress, that is a (free tool) drag and drop for IP blocks.
The rest of the “Expo” was what You can expect from such an event. (Including free gadgets and free lunch…)
